Imogen Denton is a knitwear designer born in London who studied History of Art. Taught to knit by her mother she has since set out to develop a distinct series of pieces, characterised by their bold simplicity. She takes her inspiration from a wide range of historical clothing, from medieval breastplates to Victorian outerwear. Imogen is particularly interested in knitwears’ protective nature, power and magic. Her work uses natural fibres to produce knitted armour that will both protect and caress you as you head into battle.
